The Juvenile Justice Management Information System (JJ-MIS) is a joint initiative between Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Govt of NCT of Delhi and Department of Women and Child Department, Govt of NCT of Delhi, to support child rights stakeholders involved in Juvenile Justice in effectively discharging their duties towards identification and rehabilitation of Children in Need of Care and Protection (CNCP) and Children in Conflict with Law (CCL).
The objective of JJ-MIS is to ensure the capacity development of child rights institutions through convergence via a centralized online recording and reporting system. The system enables access to and real time monitoring of key child well being indicators including family status, education, health, scheme enrollment, documentation needs and safety concerns, and is consolidated at the state, district and institution level covering (Child Care Institutions, Observation homes, Special homes, and After-care centres).

The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR), Govt of NCT of Delhi, has been constituted under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CPCR) Act, 2005. The Commission is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the rights of the children, conducting research, inquiring into complaints and violations of child rights, and advising the Government on policy matters on the issue of early childhood care and development, school education, protection of children from physical, mental and sexual violence, child labour, early marriage, substance abuse, and trafficking.
The Department of Women and Child Development,Government of N.C.T of Delhi has been created vide Cabinet decision 1259 dated 20 August 2007. This separate department of Women and Child Development has the objective of giving the much needed impetus to the holistic development of Women and Child Development is to ensure a state of well being for women and children especially those of the weaker sections of society.
The Department formulates plans, policies and programmes, guides and co-ordinates the efforts of both governmental and non-governmental organisations in the filed of women and child development.
The department of women and child development opromotes and assists the voluntary sector significantly in the implementation of the government policies and programmes for women and children.
